THE SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WILL….
Report to the Director, Information Systems. We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst with expertise in a multi-channel retail environment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an established business analyst with the ability to lead efforts in improving and managing our application ecosystem. They possess a strong understanding of business applications, workflows and technology solutions with direct experience in EDI and integrations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams during all phases of technology implementation to design processes and integrated solutions that contribute to our business success. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring technology, processes, people and data work well together.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- BA Leadership: Establish standards for business analysis and documentation. Work with product owners, developers, QA, data analysts, and others on projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate communication with the business teams.
• EDI Product Owner and Analyst: Be the technical owner of the EDI function, working to onboard new trading partners and maintain existing ones. You should be familiar with the 850, 810, 856 documents.
• Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document and manage requirements for technology initiatives. Translate business needs into technical specifications for system enhancements, including integration data mapping.
• Workflow and Processes: Lead efforts to improve efficiency of our systems and processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and design efficient workflows across systems. Prepare diagrams and other visual information to aid in understanding of processes by both business users and technology teams.
• System Integration and Optimization: Identify, design and work on initiatives related to the efficient operation, data integrity and automation of our systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in an Agile environment.
• Extensive experience with EDI, ideally using SPS Commerce.
• Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft D365, Shopify and similar business applications
• Expertise in creating business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, user stories, and the like.
• Ability to facilitate workshops for business stakeholders to elicit requirements, discover workflows or work towards a shared understanding of issues.
• Experience in creating workflow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Excellent written and communication skills couple with a strong customer service orientation. A great listener with strong interpersonal skills.
• Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$110,000.00. The final aligned upon salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
